Reaping What You Sow

English: Her thoughts began to work in her mind

To what are you giving the majority of your thoughts? (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Where are you putting your energy and attention? What takes up the majority of your thoughts? Are they thoughts of gratitude, joy and excitement for your dreams in the process of coming true, or are they doubts and worries?

“As long as we allow things to seem real to us, we are putting our energy into it. We are nurturing it; we are feeding it; we are keeping it alive; we are putting our faith into that thing, whether we like it or not, and it must naturally grow, for the law of growth is ever working to produce whatever seed we plant.” – Raymond Holliwell

We are not granted power to create or destroy. However, we do reorder our reality through our thoughts, and that is sometimes called the “creative process.” Your mind is constantly in this creative mode, whether you realize it or not. You are already manifesting, it isn’t something you decide to start doing. The question isn’t whether or not you are manifesting, but what you are manifesting.

The answer is up to you. The decision is entirely in your hands. You can focus on need, lack, loneliness and want and simply bring more of those things into your experience. Or you can choose to focus on supply, plenty, abundance, love and happiness.

There is a certain point where this becomes a “leading a horse to water” situation. What needs to be done can be explained a thousand different ways, but only you can make yourself do it. Each person must find his own HOW of it. The methods that allow one person to shift his attention to the positive and keep it there may not work for another person. You must find your own path.

Find your way to redirect your focus off of what you don’t want and onto what you do want. Direct your energy and faith toward the positive and don’t feed the negative. Be sure you are sowing something you’ll be happy to reap.
